How to Add Multiple JetBackup 5 Destinations in WHM (UI Guide)
This guide explains how to configure multiple destinations in JetBackup 5 via the WHM interface, including Local, SSH, Wasabi, Google Cloud, and Backblaze B2.
● Step 1: Access Destination Manager
- Login to WHM as root
- Go to JetBackup 5 → Destinations
- Click Create New
● Local Backup Destination
- Type: Local
- Name: LocalBackups
- Path:
/home/jetbackup - Click Test Connection → Save
● Remote SSH Destination
- Type: SSH
- Name: RemoteBackup01
- Host:
192.168.1.100 - Port: 22
- User: backupuser
- Path:
/backup/jetbackup - Auth: Password or SSH Key
- Click Test Connection → Save
● Wasabi S3 Destination
- Type: Wasabi S3
- Name: WasabiBucket
- Access Key: your_access_key
- Secret Key: your_secret_key
- Bucket: jetbackup-wasabi
- Endpoint:
s3.us-east-1.wasabisys.com - Click Test Connection → Save
● Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
- Type: Google Cloud Storage
- Name: GCSBackup
- Project ID: your-gcp-project
- Bucket: jetbackup-gcs
- Upload: Service Account JSON file
- Click Test Connection → Save
● Backblaze B2 Destination
- Type: Backblaze B2
- Name: BackblazeVault
- Key ID: your_key_id
- App Key: your_app_key
- Bucket: jetbackup-b2
- Endpoint:
s3.us-west-000.backblazeb2.com - Click Test Connection → Save
● Assign Destinations to Backup Jobs
- Navigate to JetBackup → Backup Jobs
- Create or edit a job
- Select one or more destinations
- Set schedule and retention policies
- Click Save
● Monitor & Verify Destinations
- Check in WHM under JetBackup → Destinations
- Via SSH CLI:
jetcli destinations list✅ Tip: Always use a combination of local and off-site cloud storage for safety and faster recovery.
